Why should you take action...
Relying on corporates and businesses alone will not be sufficient to meet that target. Unless every citizen of the UK starts playing a role and change their day-to-day habits, it is likely that the UK will fail in its endeavour to achieve that target.
Various businesses and government entities have developed calculators and made them available online for people to have access to level of CO2 emissions of various activities. However, these calculators are found on websites, but only calculates CO2 emissions in relation to the purpose of the website (e.g railway companies provides calculators for train journeys and nothing else and local government websites have calculators for CO2 emissions in relation to various foods consumed.)
